General Interest

INJURY JOURNEY
Her injury journey that extends over a decade has been an emotional roller coaster for her. In returning to the World Cup opener in Soelden in October 2021 she wrote: "Actually sitting on the bus heading to Soelden. To some, it may not be much but to me, it means so much. I made it, WE made it. We made it after so many injuries and the setback again in December. I will be back in the starting house soon. I know this race is just another step towards the old strength. And yet it is more. This is the reward for a lot of persistence, sweat, and hard hours in the power room. And it's the reward for the valuable people who have a lot of faith in me and my skills and invested so much to get me back to the start. No matter how the result will be on Saturday - it will be a moment to enjoy (at least then at the finish line)." (Facebook, 21 Oct 2021)
