General Interest

FIRST NATIONS TRIBUTE
During the 2021/22 season, she is paying tribute to the Columbia Valley in Canada where she grew up. Her home is on the unceded territory of the Secwepemc, Ktunaxa, and Niitsitapi people, three bands that have been supportive of her as a young ski racer. Her helmet features a salmon and is designed by Trinda Cote, a member of the Shuswap Band. (alpinecanada.org)

WORLD CUP DEBUT
In her World Cup debut weekend in January 2021 at Kranjska Gora, she finished 26th in her second race. She ended her season with a 27th in giant slalom at Jasna in March 2021. "Right off the bat it was really crazy - all of these people I’ve been watching on TV are now right next to me. I was almost star struck. Just such tough conditions like the pitch, the icy surface. But I just tried my best. Honestly, it was such a cool weekend - so many things I had waited for for so many years happened on those days.” (Alpine Canada YouTube, 25 Jan 2021)
