2016: Underwent surgery for chronic exertional compartment syndrome in her shins and had to learn how to strengthen and use other muscles in her legs. (olympic.ca)
6 February 2019: Fracture of the tibia and fibula, plus two fractures in the talus when she crashed in downhill training during the World Championships in Are. 2015
Loved skiing from the first time she tried on her brother's ski equipment when she was two, but she started to cry when they tried to take off the equipment, so her parents enrolled her in lessons. There are no mountains in St-Isidore, but her grandparents, Louise and Marcel Bourdon, had a condominium at Mont-Tremblant, and that's where it all began.
