Earned a degree in computer science from the University of Vermont in the United States while competing as a ski racer for UVM. Now that she is competing for Canada on the World Cup tour she has continued her education, presently studying biomedical engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. (Athlete, 11 Jul 2021)

Has been dealing with patella-femoral pain issues for several seasons following an injury to her medial collateral ligament.
In spring, 2021 she indicated progress was being made. “My knee problem was corrected this year. For four years, this chronic injury had been causing me pain. It’s motivating to know that the problem is solved. This is the first time that I am staying at home for the off-season and my collaboration with Charles Castonguay has been beneficial.
