Growing up near the Panorama ski area in the Canadian Rockies, skiing was a natural progression as a young girl. She started racing when she was 10 but wasn't competitive until she was 13-14 years old. (columbiavalleypioneer.com, 5 Feb 2016)

Winning three national collegiate titles at the University of Denver, two in her freshman year in 2018 and one in her senior year in 2021.
