11 March 2016: Suffered a knee injury including a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in a downhill training run at the NorAm Cup Finals in Aspen. Returned to racing in December 2016. Began skiing at Snowbird together with her parents and two brothers when she was three years old, and started ski racing when she was six. (Athlete, 16 Aug 2021)

Loves being up in the mountains away from reality. Skiing has been an escape and her livelihood. "Ski racing became a part of me at an early age, and the thrill and individuality it allowed me to experience has been my greatest teacher. "Bode Miller was always a motivator for me. His individuality inspired me, and his fearlessness is something I still strive towards. He always was so much fun to watch, was super analytical and was so attentive to detail. I try and ski a little more like Bode every day." (Athlete, 16 Aug 2021)
