Began skiing when she was three near her home in Visoko. When she was six, a ski instructor suggested she join Ski Klub Bjelasnica, where she began racing on Jahorina near Sarajevo, the venue for the women's Alpine events at the 1984 Olympic Winter Games. (Info 2018)

In January 2020 at Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, she became the first skier from Bosnia Herzegovina to score top-30 World Cup points, finishing 29th in downhill.
