February 2018: Tore her anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in her left knee in a crash during the giant slalom at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. Underwent surgery but had ongoing issues in dryland training in August. Returned to racing in the United States in December 2018, but with continued pain, she underwent another surgery, this time with ski racing surgeon Dr. Christian Fink in Innsbruck, and missed the rest of the season. She then returned to racing in November 2019.
2015: Fractured her tibia in a ski training accident.
