Brother Andreas Aamodt Kilde (Alpine skiing): Competed at the Europa Cup, Junior World Championships, and for the University of Denver, before retiring in 2011.

Girlfriend Mikaela Shiffrin (Alpine skiing): Representing the United States of America, she is a two-time Olympic champion, six-time World champion, and three-time Overall World Cup champion. 16 January 2021: Torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee as a result of a super-G training accident in Austria, ending his 2020/21 season where he was the defending overall World Cup champion. Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Competed at the Olympic Winter Games three times (2014-22). Won silver in Alpine combined and bronze in super-G at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Finished 13th in both his previous super-G appearances at Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
In three World Championships (2015-19), he has six top-10 finishes, his best being a pair of fourths in 2017 in the super-G (missing the podium by 0.03 seconds), and Alpine combined (tied with Italy's Dominic Paris, and missing the podium by 0.04 seconds).

2013 Junior World giant slalom champion. Has three other top-10 finishes, including a pair of fourths (2012 super-G, 2013 downhill).

WORLD CUP
With over 170 World Cup starts, he has 24 podiums and 10 victories (six in super-G, four in downhill). Four wins came at the start of the 2021/22 Olympic season (Beaver Creek (2), Val Gardena-Groeden, Bormio). No man had won three straight super-Gs since Kilde's injured teammate, Kjetil Jansrud, in 2016.

Won the 2020 overall World Cup title and the 2016 super-G crown.
