Began skiing when he was one and a half years old while on family ski vacations. His father had an instructor and coaching license in Sweden and Norway, so he picked up a lot of ski days from an early age. Joined Skiklubben Hareskov, which offered gate training and opened up a new world of Alpine ski racing. (Athlete, 19 Sep 2021)

The first time he achieved the podium in a FIS competition, finishing second and third in FIS giant slalom races at Zlatibor (SRB) in March 2017.
