Started when she was two to three years old with her father (a ski coach), on small hills near their Podbreziny housing estate. She began racing when she was a child. (Athlete, 5 Jun 2021)
"My father was a ski coach, so my journey automatically led to skiing. And I probably enjoyed it from the beginning and still to this day. When I was little, I devoted myself to gymnastics for a long time, and also to athletics, which my mother trained. Both sports were a great addition to skiing and, thanks to them, I improved my speed and coordination. It could have drained my energy, but skiing was always my favorite." (attsportszone.cz, 8 Dec 2020)
"To be the best." (Athlete, 5 Jun 2021)
Her father was her coach early on in her career. "It's not easy when your own father trains you. But I owe everything in skiing to him. Of course, we had differences of views, but it wasn't like we stopped having fun. And I'm glad he's still on my team, at least from a distance. I think that a father as a coach is a very important person up to a certain age, say the beginning of a junior, and then a foreign coach should take over." (lidovky.cz, 15 Feb 2021)
Had her best season ever on the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup circuit in 2021 with three top-10 slalom finishes, to finish a career best 10th in slalom. It came following a very disappointing 2018/19 season. "The 2018/19 season was catastrophic for me. I don't know why, but I thought about stopping skiing. I was six seconds out. But then (coach) Andrej Prevuznsk took over. We started training and skiing completely freely. We tried to ski like before, which helped me a lot to get back in shape and maybe even improve. We sat down and I was comfortable in the team, thanks to our cooperation." (lbovky.cz, 15 Feb 2021)
