Father Peter Duerr (Alpine skiing): Competed at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Winter Games for FRG, with his best finish 17th in Alpine combined at Calgary 1988. Started his sporting career as a surfer and finished seventh at the 1979 World Championships. (olympedia.org)
Sister Katharina Duerr (Alpine skiing): Competed at the 2011 World Championships and three Junior World Championships winning the silver medal in the slalom in 2007.
Sister Franziska Duerr (Alpine skiing): Competed for Germany at the FIS race level, retiring in 2011.
Partner Fritz Dopfer (Alpine skiing): Competed at the Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, three World Championships (won 2015 slalom silver), and two Junior World Championships (2006, 2007).
