Injuries:

February 2021: Significant injuries to her abdominal muscles and right adductor tendons in a training accident in Reiteralm just prior to the World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo, causing her to miss the championships and the remainder of the season. Her father was a ski instructor and taught her after she received skis for Christmas when she was three. She later joined the local ski club at Faaken See, detouring from a budding career as a flutist. (Athlete, 24 Aug 2021; skiracing.com, 4 Oct 2017)

FARM LIFE
Grew up and lives on a farm in Carinthia, remaining close to her roots. "When I go outside the door at home, I am in nature, see the animals, and have no cars in front of my nose. I'm just Kathi from the farm. Even as a small child I drove the cows to the pasture in the morning and fetched them again. I've always been used at home. I am happy to have grown up on a farm." THE ZWANGERHOF
The Truppe family has been running "The Zwanzgerhof" above Lake Faak for nine generations where people can come for a holiday and stay in their apartments to experience farm life on the mountain. (zwanzgerhof.at)
