Her mother put her on skis for the first time when she was almost three years old. When she was six, she took part in programs with the local Ski Klub Rankweil at her home ski area Laterns. "I've loved snow since I was little. Playing in the snow quickly became too boring for me and I immediately discovered the fun and enthusiasm of skiing." (katherina-liensberger.at)
