Her mother put her on skis for the first time when she was almost three years old. When she was six, she took part in programs with the local Ski Klub Rankweil at her home ski area Laterns. OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Made her Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018 winning a silver medal in the debut of team parallel event (with Stephanie Brunner, Katharina Gallhuber, Manuel Feller, Michael Matt, Marco Schwarz). Finished eighth in the slalom (the third-best Austrian). Won gold in mixed team parallel and silver in slalom at Beijing 2022.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Four-time World Championships medallist winning two golds in 2021 (parallel giant slalom, slalom), one silver (2019 team parallel), and one bronze (2021 giant slalom). At the 2021 World Championships, she ended the win streak of Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) in slalom at the world championships, returning the title to Austria after 10 years. "I really gave it all today. Won three Junior World Championships silver medals in giant slalom (2017, 2018) and team event (2017). In 2018 in Davos, her silver was part of a 1-2 Austrian podium finish, with Julia Scheib winning gold.

WORLD CUP
Was double world champion (20 February 2021) before she had her first podium victory on the World Cup circuit in Are (13 March 2021) where she was second-fastest on both slalom runs, winning by a margin of 0.72 seconds.

CRYSTAL GLOBE
Won the Lenzerheide World Cup slalom on 20 March 2021 by more than a second to capture the slalom overall title. In nine World Cup slaloms in the 2020/21 season, she had eight podiums including two victories, four seconds, and two thirds.
